THE JOINING 2012 is yet to be dreamed..

(but it will be)

Thank you to those who came to the Joining 2011, to the Committee, to the Elders of the Joining, and to all those who co-created this magical gathering. We  hope that the spirit of the Joining lives beyond the gathering, that the love and depth generated and experienced flows out into our lives and our loves, that we embody what we know ourselves to be, seeing ourselves in the mirror of those who love us.

Although the physical event of the Joining 2011 is past, this website will remain substantially unchanged until the dreaming for the next Joining is complete. Then it will be birthed anew, as is the Joining each year. The circles of  belonging are still rippling out from this event and will continue to do so. The continuation of this website honours this process.

The Joining honours the value of both masculine and feminine qualities.  We recognise the need to learn the ever-changing dance of these potent forces, both within ourselves, in our relationships and in our culture.

The Joining is held at the spring equinox, when day (the masculine) and night (the feminine) are in balance.  A respectful balance between the masculine and feminine within and between us all is the necessary foundation upon which we can build a more sustainable and nurturing culture.

The Joining is a pebble in the vast pond of our society, whose effects ripple out into the world.  The Joining brings opening and harmony to those who attend and through us to our loved ones and all those we encounter in life.
